Floating villa with personal colour choices in every detail

Construction company: Aqua Floating Group
House model: Futura, 181 kvm
Interior architect: Jeanette Hammarstedt
Elfa products: Interior and sliding doors from Elfa's made to measure assortment

Aquavillan is far from a standard project, so standard solutions were not an option. That's why Aqua Floating Group turned to Elfa when it came to storage. And to get a harmonious, cohesive feeling of the interior, Aquavillan engaged interior architect Jeanette Hammarstedt.

The location by the sea set the tone

The design of the floating villa, large windows and the location surrounded by water, placed high demands on the colour scheme of the interior. Jeanette Hammarstedt, who developed the interior design concept for Aquavillan, says: "I consistently chose colours and materials from the warmer colour scale. The wall colour has both a little grey and yellow in it which absorbs both the warmth in the wooden details of the house and the grey tones in the floor. The colour scheme is well balanced not to create too large contrasts to the bright light coming in from the sun reflecting in the sea."

"Elfa's Décor concept adds a warm, luxurious look"

Storage solutions contributing to the whole

Aqua Floating Group has chosen Elfa as the storage supplier for the Aquavillan concept. Sliding door wardrobes can be found in all bedrooms as well as the hallway. Elfa's wall-hung click-in interior in white is used.

For this villa, the buyer asked for Jeanette's help to create complete storage solutions with shelves, drawers and hooks. She used Elfa's Décor concept to add a warm, luxurious look with drawer fronts and shelves in wood with a white finish.

”All well-balanced colour scheme to match the sun and the sea”

Space efficient hallway storage

In the hallway, a storage solution with sliding doors in mirror glass can be found. The solution uses the square and cubic meters of the hall efficiently, offering good storage for jackets and shoes. The mirror glass in the doors reflects light and makes the hallway brighter.
